The Cambridge Teaching & Learning Recognition Scheme is designed for Cambridge educators seeking accreditation as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Drawing on your existing experience and reflections on teaching and supporting learning, participants on the Scheme are supported in drafting an application for Associate Fellowship, Fellowship or Senior Fellowship - depending on your experience - over the course of one Term.

You will be expected to attend a series of three workshops designed to help you draft your application, including time dedicated directly to writing:

  1. Introduction to Fellowship
  2. Progress Review
  3. Finalising your Application

As places are limited, we ask that you submit an expression of interest. This will let us assess your potential eligibility for Fellowship before you invest more substantial time into drafting a full application. Multiple cycles of the Scheme will run over the course of the year.

The submission window for Cycle 1 (Michaelmas Term) closes on Friday 15 August.

For more information and to apply, please visit the Teaching & Learning Recognition Scheme webpage.

The Teaching & Learning Recognition Scheme involves you making a supported application for Fellowship of the HEA directly. If you think that you would benefit from attending a taught course to help you develop your teaching practice further, you might instead be interested in the Advancing Educational Practice Programme or the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education. Both of these are taught cohort programmes which result in accreditation as Fellow of the HEA on successful completion; the Master's-level Postgraduate Certificate requires a substantially greater time investment.
