Annual Meeting for Directors of Postgraduate Education and Postgraduate Tutors 2019
This year saw the first annual meeting for Directors of Postgraduate Education and Postgraduate Tutors, chaired by the Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Graham Virgo.
A key focus of the meeting was the review of guidance and training for postgraduate students and their supervisors concenring expectations and good practice in postgraduate supervision and supervisory relations. Directors of Postgraduate Education and Postgraduate Tutors were invited to shape the development of the new form of guidance and support.
There was also an opportunity to identify key topics in postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment which might be addressed at future CCTL events, including the annual Cambridge Teaching Forum.
