Annual Meeting for Directors of Postgraduate Education and Postgraduate Tutors 2022

This event provides an opportunity for colleagues who educate or support the learning of postgraduate students to share ideas, expertise and good practice, and to hear about and inform some of the collegiate University's larger conversations about postgraduate education.

The Annual Meeting 2022 was hosted by the Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Prof. Graham Virgo, and included the incoming Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Prof. Bhaskar Vira. We were delighted to welcome keynote speaker Jason Arday, Professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Glasgow, who has published extensively on race inequalities in higher education.

Further key themes included postgraduate widening participation, local support for research supervisors, and models for supervisory teams.
