Annual Meeting for Directors of Teaching and Senior Tutors 2019

The event was chaired by the Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Graham Viro, and the Secretary of the Senior Tutors' Committee, Dr Mark Wormald. The agenda included student contributions and opportunities for discussion, networking and the sharing of good practices.

During the first half of the meeting we reviewed priorities and identified practicalities for investigating and closing attainment gaps among undergraduate students, as set out in Cambridge's Access and Participation Plan (2020-25). In the second half we explored questions concerning formative and summative assessment practices and students' learning. This session was facilitated by Professor Chris Young, Chair of the Examination and Assessment Committee.
