The first Diversifying Assessment Forum was held on Friday 13 March 2020.

The forum was opened by the Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Graham Virgo, and chaired by Professor Chris Young, Chair of the Examination and Assessment Committee. It provided an opportunity for all staff involved in assessment or examination practices to explore processes and opportunities for changing, refining or adapting current assessment practices.

In light of the Covid-19 situation, CCTL took the decision to livestream the event, and encouraged delegates to consider staying home and joining us online instead. The livestream was a great success, with a substantial number of delegates participating this way, and we were also able to record the event for the benefit of all delegates.

The morning included short presentations from a range of disciplines about diverse assessment practices, including innovative approaches to the traditional exam. Please see the full programme for more information.

Recordings of selected talks and slides from the event are available on the Past DAF Materials page (Raven access required).
