Recorded webinars by Cambridge University Press

Online Learning Services at Cambridge University Press ran a short series of webinars over Easter Term 2020, designed to support teaching staff in their move to remote teaching. These were recorded and are publicly available below.

The series comprised five sessions in total. Hosted by Lead Course Designer Deirdre Cijffers, the hour-long sessions focused on the pedagogical principles of simple actions you can take to make sure your remote teaching is as effective and personal as your face-to-face teaching.

The topics are:

  • Maintaining student engagement remotely
  • Communicating your ideas online
  • Keeping the conversation going
  • Planning your course
  • Creating and managing your learning community
