Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning

Cambridge Teaching Forum 2024

The 2024 Teaching Forum took place on Thursday 18 April, at the Student Services Centre. We were delighted to be able to increase our capacity almost two-fold this year by hosting plenary sessions in the Babbage Lecture Theatre in the neighbouring David Attenborough Building, and thank all of our delegates and contributors for helping us to make a much larger event so successful.

The full programme for the day included a panel of colleagues on the new Teaching & Scholarship Academic Career Pathway, which proved very popular, as well as talks from a diverse range of speakers.

We were delighted to welcome Dr Camille Kandiko Howson of Imperial College London, who spoke engagingly on the subject of "Teaching excellence and educational gain".

The event was opened by Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Bhaskar Vira.
