Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning

students meeting

Do you have an interest in higher education research, ethical practices and the design of qualitative research projects involving human participants?

The Cambridge Higher Education Studies Research Ethics Committee is currently seeking two postgraduate students to sit on the committee this academic year (2022-23). We support educational researchers seeking ethics review for research projects focused on teaching, learning and other educational experiences within the University of Cambridge and those focused on student admissions. For more information about our scope, see the main committee page.

We are missing some representative student voices on the committee, and consider them to offer valuable perspectives on the ethical considerations of researching students and their educational experiences. This student role on the committee would be voluntary and involve one meeting per Term, application review training with the Chair, and participation in one application review per Term with a small team.

To express your interest in joining this committee, please fill in this application form by Monday 10 October.
