Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning

Directors of Studies provide essential academic guidance and support to students on an individual basis. At the beginning of Michaelmas Term each year a panel of Senior Tutors holds a short, interactive meeting for new Directors of Studies. This meeting explores the role and its responsibilities; provides a greater understanding of the responsibilities of Colleges in the direction of studies, including the roles of supervisions and CamCORS; and highlights relevant legislation, such as the Data Protection Act, in how it affects the keeping of records and the provision of references.

An invitation to attend this session is sent to Senior Tutors each summer to disseminate.

Materials for the latest session can be found on the Senior Tutors' Committee website.
