Workshops for supervisors

Short, practical workshops (1.5 hours) are held throughout the year over lunchtimes. Combining short case studies with time for questions and discussion, these workshops are designed to enable participants to consider the supervisor's role, best practice in guiding students' progress and a range of approaches to supervising postgraduate students, essential administration and the range of support available within the collegiate University.

Online resource

A comprehensive resource pulling together University policies and guidelines on matters relating to supervising postgraduate students, as well as guidance and advice based on research and the observations and experience from over a hundred Cambridge supervisors. Case studies and examples are included for reflection and discussion with colleagues.
