Over the course of this nine-month cohort programme you will explore theories of learning, develop a philosophy of teaching and learning, enquire into approaches to curriculum design, feedback and assessment, and expand your knowledge and practice through introductions to higher education research. You will work on a series of formative assignments during the year, culminating in an extended reflective account of practice to complete the programme.

This new programme is accredited by Advance HE, and so completion of the programme will see you accredited as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

The Advancing Educational Practice Programme is designed for those with substantive teaching / learning support responsibilities, such as early-career lecturers or researchers, College Teaching Officers, and academic-related or support staff with roles involving teaching or learning support. It may be of particular interest if you are on the new Teaching & Scholarship Academic Career Pathway.

Applications close on Monday 29 August.

For more information, key dates and to apply, please visit the Advancing Educational Practice Programme webpage.
