About the Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting for Directors of Postgraduate Education & Postgraduate Tutors enables colleagues who educate or support the learning of postgraduate students to share ideas, expertise and good practice, and to hear about and inform some of the collegiate University's larger conversations about postgraduate education.

Annual Meeting 2023

Hosted by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Prof. Bhaskar Vira, the Annual Meeting 2023 will have a focus on student mental health and wellbeing. We will also be reviewing the role of "Director of Postgraduate Education".

We are delighted to welcome guest speaker Dr Paula Miles, Director of Teaching and Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychology & Neuroscience, University of St Andrews. Paula will be delivering the keynote presentation jointly with Dr Adam Welstead, Head of Student Wellbeing here at Cambridge.

The event will also feature a panel, Q&A and breakout group discussions on postgraduate mental health and wellbeing, and a review of the Director of Postgraduate Education role led by the Co-Chairs of the Postgraduate Committee and Head of the Postgraduate Research Office.
