Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning

This week saw the 26th Pilkington Prize awards ceremony take place at Girton College, where the weather held out for us to enjoy a lovely evening.

Thirteen members of staff were celebrated for their outstanding teaching, with prizes awarded by the Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Graham Virgo. We were delighted to host relatives of the donors, Mr and Mrs Christian and Mr and Mrs Cooper, and were also joined by six of Girton College's ten former winners of the Pilkington Prize.

This year also saw the first presentation of the new Cambridge University Press prize recognising excellence in Technology-Enabled Learning, to three further highly-deserving prizewinners.

You can read more about the ceremony on the central Cambridge website.

You can learn more about the Pilkington Prize on the CCTL website, where you can also view the programme for the evening along with more information on each of the prizewinners.
