About the Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting for Directors of Postgraduate Education & Postgraduate Tutors enables colleagues who educate or support the learning of postgraduate students to share ideas, expertise and good practice, and to hear about and inform some of the collegiate University's larger conversations about postgraduate education.

The Annual Meeting for Directors of Postgraduate Education & Postgraduate Tutors was opened by Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Prof. Bhaskar Vira.

This year's meeting included:

  • A keynote on 'Improving Research Culture' by Liz Simmonds, Head of Research Culture
  • A panel reflecting on research culture in a postgraduate context at Cambridge
  • Small-group discussions on the University's Postgraduate Education Strategy
  • Opportunities for networking and further discussion
