Online Learning Services at Cambridge University Press are running a short series of webinars designed to support teaching staff in their move to remote teaching.

The series will comprise five sessions in total, and you can sign up individually for those that interest you. Hosted by Lead Course Designer Deirdre Cijffers, they will last an hour and focus on the pedagogical principles of simple actions you can take to make sure your remote teaching is as effective and personal as your face-to-face teaching.

The topics are:

  • Maintaining student engagement remotely
  • Communicating your ideas online
  • Keeping the conversation going
  • Planning your course
  • Creating and managing your learning community

The sessions will be recorded and made available publicly afterwards (see below).
